How to get started with EliteTRT
01
Eligibility Assessment
Before starting TRT, it’s essential to determine whether treatment may be clinically appropriate. Begin by:
• Completing our online Health Questionnaire, which covers your medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms.
• Undertaking two blood panels: Elite 1 and Elite 2, which assess Testosterone levels and other relevant markers. Please note: Blood test results must be from within the last three months and must be morning collections for accurate baseline results.
Important:
When ordering Elite 1 and Elite 2 panels through iMedical, please order them separately. Do not add both to the same cart. Each panel needs its own referral form and must be completed on a different day to avoid results being blended. Order Elite 1 first, then complete checkout, and place a separate order for Elite 2.
Your results can be conveniently and securely uploaded through our website for review by our medical team.
02
Initial Consultations
Once your bloodwork and health questionnaire have been received, our team will review the information provided to ensure the assessment process can proceed. A 15-minute phone consultation with a member of our non-clinical team may be conducted to gather any additional information, answer administrative questions, and explain the EliteTRT assessment process.
If you wish to proceed, you will then be scheduled for a Telehealth consultation with one of our Australian-registered prescribing doctors, who will review your clinical information and determine whether treatment may be clinically appropriate.
03
Personalised Treatment Plan
During your consultation, the prescribing doctor will review your blood test results, health questionnaire, symptoms, medical history, and relevant health information. If treatment is considered clinically appropriate, the doctor will discuss available treatment options, dosing considerations, administration methods, monitoring requirements, and potential risks associated with treatment.
Where a prescription is issued, patients may choose to have their prescription dispensed through a local pharmacy or one of our partnered pharmacies. EliteTRT does not apply additional markups to medications supplied through partnered pharmacies.
04
Ongoing treatment and monitoring
Where treatment has been prescribed, patients should notify our team once their medication has been dispensed so ongoing review scheduling can commence.
Ongoing treatment requires regular monitoring and follow-up bloodwork. Following review consultations, the prescribing doctor prepares and provides pathology referrals for the next review bloodwork. Pathology referrals are currently available for patients under ongoing care with our clinic and are incorporated into our service at *no additional charge.
*Please note that while many pathology tests may be eligible for Medicare subsidies where clinically appropriate, Medicare coverage cannot be guaranteed. Some monitoring panels may include biomarkers that fall outside standard subsidy criteria.
Patients undergoing treatment are generally reviewed every three months, with Telehealth consultations and prescription renewals completed as required. For men who have been stable on treatment for an extended period, the prescribing doctor may consider longer review intervals, such as every four months. This is assessed on an individual basis and reviewed periodically by the doctor.
05
Ongoing
Monitoring
Patients prescribed treatment through our clinic undergo regular monitoring, including bloodwork reviews and scheduled follow-up consultations. Where required, treatment may be reviewed by the prescribing doctor based on clinical information and monitoring results.
Our team also provides administrative assistance throughout the review process. We are committed to clear communication and transparent pricing, with no additional medication markups through our partnered pharmacies.
Assessment for low Testosterone involves consideration of symptoms, bloodwork, medical history, and relevant health information. Our doctors use this information to determine whether TRT may be clinically appropriate and to guide ongoing monitoring where treatment is prescribed.
